Background
I have worked in mental health care for over 35 years (GGZ Westelijk Noord Brabant, De Viersprong, GGZ Breburg). As a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist I have worked in various roles and with various target groups. The common thread has always been psychotherapy and in particular group psychotherapy.
Since my retirement in mid-2023, I have been working in the context of training colleagues. In addition, I provide individual supervision and guidance to teams that can use my expertise and support. It is nice to be able to use my extensive experience with outpatient psychotherapy, day treatment and clinical psychotherapy for younger colleagues.
Over the past 16 years, I have been inspired by MBT. My specific group therapy experience is diverse, including MBT, eating disorders, and young adults.

Vision
The questions of the care provider are central during guidance, coaching and supervision. The starting point is person-oriented and context-bound.

Because mental health care is increasingly focused on complex and compound problems where work is often done under high pressure, I have an eye for support, creating space and reflection. This is to enable interpersonal learning and a mediating learning experience.
